Loneliness, Hopelessness, Uncertainty

These words have been circulated everywhere as a result of the current world situation.

In moments of

loneliness,

remember that the

Spirit of God is with you.

In 1 Pet. 1:2, we see that you are chosen by God from the beginning. Do not think that you stumbled upon this article by accident. The Spirit has been searching and sanctifying your inward parts to cause you repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. You can utter a simple prayer even right now,

“Oh Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, but I believe that You came and died for my sins. I love you Lord.”

As a result of this small prayer, in Rom. 8:11, we see that the Spirit imparts His life in you, and in John 14:16, we see that the Spirit is the Comforter, who is with you forever.

In moments of

hopelessness,

remember that

Jesus Christ is your hope.

In Col. 1:27, we see that Christ is our hope. Even though we were sinners and enemies of God, He sent His Son to die for us. InActs 13:38–39, we see that His Son Jesus Christ is our forgiveness of sins, and our justification. Through His death, we become God’s household, the church.

In moments of

uncertainty,

remember that

God has a purpose for you.

In Zech. 12:1, we see that God created the heavens for the earth, the earth for man, and man was created with a human spirit. In John 4:24, we see that God is Spirit. Therefore, our human spirit is for us to contact God and contain God. What is the purpose of contacting God and containing God? In Gen. 1:26, we see that God wants to have an expression, for His will be done in the universe. This can be accomplished by our constant contact with God, such that the Spirit of God and our human spirit can have a mingling, an organic union. As we stay in our mingled spirit, He can spread through our being, and eventually He can have an expression in the universe, and His will be done.

So in moments of loneliness, hopelessness, and uncertainty, you have God in Christ as the Spirit in your human spirit.

Rom. 8:11 And if the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you.

John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, that He may be with you forever,
